Therapy to help you shift stubborn patterns that keep getting in your own way — and choose, more deliberately, how you actually
want to live.
For the private habits: shame, secrecy, compulsive behavior, that don't match the life you've otherwise worked hard to build.
Hi, I’m Gabriel Senn.
I understand therapy from both sides of the chair. My own years in psychotherapy shaped the therapist I try to be: direct, deeply curious, and willing to stay with what's difficult. Not the "how does that make you feel" kind of therapy, but the kind that actually moves you closer to who you're trying to become.
I was also raised around it. Several of the most gifted therapists I know are family, and watching that work up close, long before I trained for it myself, is part of why I don't flinch easily. The topics most people steer around, I tend to lean into.
I work most often with people, many of them men, living in the gap between how they present to the world and the private, harder-to-say-out-loud parts of themselves they haven't found a way to repattern yet.
What I Specialize In
Shame and secrecy
Face what you've been hiding without becoming defined by it.
Compulsive behaviors
Pornography, sex, gambling, drinking, or other patterns that have taken on a life of their own — understanding what they're actually doing for you, not just how to white-knuckle stopping them.
Anger and disconnection
Irritability, resentment, withdrawal, and the relational strain they leave behind.
Infidelity and betrayal
Examining what happened honestly, taking responsibility, without losing yourself in the process.
Couples work
I've completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and bring that training to couples rebuilding trust after infidelity, secrecy, and disconnection.
Not sure your specific situation fits neatly into any of these? If something above resonates even loosely, that's usually enough of a sign to reach out.
How to Begin
$200 per 50-minute session. Private pay, with a superbill provided for out-of-network reimbursement.
We'll start with a free 15-minute consultation, a short call to see if this feels like the right fit. Submit the form and you'll hear back within one business day.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
If it's taking up mental space, costing you sleep, or making you feel like you're managing two different lives, that's enough of a reason. You don't need a crisis to justify getting support.
-
Very. Most people I work with are saying some version of this out loud for the first time in our first few sessions. That's not a red flag — it's usually the whole reason therapy works.
-
Yes. I work regularly with compulsive sexual behavior, pornography use, and the shame and secrecy that tend to build up around it — without pathologizing you for having it.
-
Same lens applies. The specific behavior matters less to me than what it's doing for you and what it's costing you — that's where the actual work happens.
-
Discretion is built into how I work, not an afterthought. I'm comfortable with clients who have real visibility or status, and I don't get rattled by it.
-
My work is most shaped by men navigating these patterns, but not exclusively. If what's above resonates, reach out.
-
Yes. I've completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and increasingly work with couples navigating infidelity, disconnection, or the aftermath of a partner's compulsive behavior coming to light.
